What is Hall Council?

Hall Councils in URHC are similar to a student government organization; they represent their hall by voting on programming and legislation in URHC

​​What does Hall Council do?

Hall Councils plan hall-wide programs by your hall, for your hall. They are a vital part of campus life and a unique opportunity to get a residential peer perspective on the hall.

  • Bring fresh ideas to their resident hall community

  • Form rare partnerships with RA staff and campus organizations

  • Vote on legislation and programming at General Body Meetings

  • Are passionate about service to their peers.

What are General

Body Meetings?

General Body Meetings (GBM) is where residents to vote on funding proposals and URHC legislation, meet students with a passion for resident hall life, and hear the latest updates from the URHC community.

​Bi Weekly on Thursdays at 7:00pm
